(25.05.2006) - New release on it's way
It has been silent for nearly 3 years, this is mostly because I have invested time and effort in other projects, and did move most of the source into an open source solution called VBCommenter. I'm thinking of wrapping up a new release and make it open source so that everyone can make improvements. I'll most likely make a CodePlex project for people to contribute to.
(04.06.2003) - Beta 4 on it's way
Beta3 contains very few bugs, even the transition to VS.NET 2003 have been smooth. It's a few bugs that I'll have to fix yet, but it looks good. The reason for posting this update is that Microsoft has posted powertoys for VS.NET and one of the powertoys are a add-in to produce XML comments for VB.NET code. In it's current state it's at the same level VBXC Beta1 was, BUT they have modified VB.NET so that it should be possible to show comments for the current solution even for VB.NET projects. I'm looking into this and trying to get in contact with the correct people at MS in order to get some info on how it does work. Most likely beta4 of VBXC will take advantage of the added functionality that the VS.NET IDE team provides with it's powertoy.
